Returns & Refunds Policy

Each SSSOLO piece is thoughtfully handcrafted in small batches rather than mass-produced. This means no two pieces are ever exactly the same. Slight variations in texture, colour, size, and finish are inherent to the handmade process and form part of the natural character of the piece. These variations are not considered defects.

SSSOLO specifies that items are either made to order, selected at random from small handcrafted batches, or created specifically for clients ordering bespoke pieces.

Preference-based reasons such as not liking the design, style, or aesthetic of jewellery are not considered defects.

Our dresses are produced in proprietary standard cuts and cannot be altered or customised.

Slight differences in colour due to screen displays and lighting conditions are also not considered defects.


Returns

We offer a 7-day return window, which means you must request a return within 7 days of receiving your item.

Because most of our items are custom made or made to order, we do not accept returns or exchanges on:

  • Dresses

  • Bespoke or custom earrings

  • Personalised items

All items are photographed and quality-checked before dispatch.


Eligible returns (defective items only)

A return will only be considered if:

  • The item is defective or damaged on arrival to you, and visual proof is provided

  • The item is returned in the same condition received, unworn, unused, with tags, and in its original packaging.

You must provide:

  • Proof of purchase, and

  • Clear photographic evidence of the defect for assessment.


How to request a return

To request a return, please contact us at info@sssolo.co.za within 7 days of receiving your order.

If your return is approved, we will provide instructions for return delivery.
Returns must be sent via a reliable courier (such as PUDO or The Courier Guy) to a Bedfordview, Gauteng located kiosk or to an address provided via email.

Items returned without prior approval will not be accepted.


Damages & issues

Please inspect your order upon delivery.
If your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us immediately so we can assess and resolve the issue.


Non-returnable items

The following items are strictly non-returnable:

  • Custom or made-to-order products

  • Bespoke jewellery

  • Sale items

  • Gift cards

Due to hygiene reasons, earrings cannot be returned unless faulty.

If you are unsure about a product before purchasing, please contact us and we will gladly assist.


Exchanges

We do not offer exchanges, except where an item is confirmed to be defective. We require the item to be returned according to the returns policy before sending a replacement product. 


Refunds

If your return is approved after inspection, refunds will be processed via EFT within 10-15 business days.
Please note that processing times may vary depending on your bank.
